American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship (AU EGLS)

 

This scholarship is a great opportunity for high-achieving international students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree in the United States, particularly in Development Studies.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

 

– Not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

– Minimum GPA of 3.8

– Demonstrated leadership qualities

– English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo)

– Active community service involvement

– No prior university attendance in the U.S.

 

2. STEPS TO APPLY:

 

– Submit the Common Application and AU Writing Supplement (including your major selection)

– Submit the AU EGLS Application Form (on AU’s website)

 

3 SUBMIT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

 

– Transcripts (English translation if needed)

– Recommendation letters (x2)

– English proficiency test scores

– Bank letter and financial certificate
